Our Worship ministry is based on a single underlying principle:
All that we do, is for an audience of One. We seek to bring Him pleasure , and pour lavish, unrestrained, passionate love out before His throne. We resist the pressures to perform for the congregation, but seek to draw them along with us as we all worship the King.
Our team is made up mostly of youth and young adults who were raised up in this lifestyle, here in our Church. Most of our musicians and singers are self-taught, and began learning as teen-agers, with Worship as their primary motivation.
Our music is an eclectic blend of current Christian music from around the globe, as well as older established songs from previous seasons of Church life. We occasionally incorporate the more traditional hymns, where appropriate to the flow of a particular service.
We use acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, drums, and other rhythm and wind instruments. We have a maturing group of vocalists who are increasing in blending harmonies and vocal styles.
We are always on the lookout for new team members. Whether you currently play an instrument or sing, or perhaps have untapped desire to do so, we welcome the opportunity to help you explore a role on our Worship Team. The only strict qualification, is that your motivation be to worship Him.
